Easten is WALKING!!

Easten in walking....yep, he started just before he turned 11 months!! Brady was around the same age! It's sooo fun, it was the night of the Superbowl and we had some friends over, he was after this one toy that moves and he was on the go!! He never looked back, he walks like crazy!! It's not that he can just walk, HE'S RUNNING and holding boxes too!! He has just gotten so big! He will be ONE on the 9Th of March and it kind of makes me sad....he's not my baby anymore!!

Brady and him have so much fun together (that is when Brady's not pounding on him) but I guess that's what big brother's are for! We tell Brady that he has to be nice and that he's lucky he has a brother to play with, and that when Easten get's a little bigger he is going to get REVENGE!! So watch out!! It's fun having boys....I Love them so much!!

Christmas was great this year! We were suppose to go to Utah, but we thought we would stay here with what was going on with the whole H1N1! So my mom came up instead! It was fun having her here! Brady was sick for chirstmas he had the flu, not very fun. He thru up twice down stairs the day before christams eve and then on christmas eve he thru up in his bed. Poor little guy. He was so good about it, didn't even cry or anything. It's not so much fun when your little one is sick, but we got through it and he was feeling better christmas day! The boys were so fun this year! Brady wanted Mack and McQueen, and Brady said Easten wanted a Tractor, so that's what Santa brought!! We were suppose to go into Winnipeg Christmas eve to stay with Taras's family but it was storming and Brady was sick so we decided not to go. We celebrated Christmas with Taras's family on the 27th! So we still had two Christmas's! The boys sure did get spoiled, they do ever year! Thanks everyone! Can't wait to see what Santa brings this year! :)

So back in September I had the boys picture's taken on the farm! It was such a great day! They did so well, and whatever Easten was doing for his picture Brady wanted to get right in there! BOYS!! He was good though, they both were! Thanks again Tami for everything!! Your the best! There is still lots to come, I have been a total slacker and way busy with a few things...I will let you all know very soon!

Easten's Dr. Appt

So Easten had his 6 months shots last friday! He did GREAT he didn't even cry on the first one, he looked at me and then the nurse...and that was it. Then on the second one he cried cause that one stings! See here they only do 2 shots, but they have all the stuff that you get in the states it's just all within those 2 shots!! Much more easier....anyways he has done so well, still sleeping through the night, it's like he never even had them!! Thanks Nicole, your soo good!!

He is a 22lbs and 13oz, almost 23lbs and is 28 inches long!! He's in the 95th percentile for his weight and 85th for his height!! He's going to be a big boy just like daddy! He is almost crawling, he scoots...and gets his one arm under him and away he goes! He gets up but hasn't quiet figured it out....any day now! He is such a happy baby and is so good...never cry's unless he's hungry or tired and even then it's not really a cry!! We love you monkey!!

Our Summer & Fall

Wow I can't believe how far behind I am!! Where to start!! So my Mom, Grandma, Aunt Pam, Cousin Allie and Sister where here the start of Sept.! We had a blast we did so much! It was Taras's Birthday on the 11th and Brady's was the 12th!! He turned TWO! I know I can't believe it either! It was fun to have them here the celebrate! We started harvest when they were here so my Aunt, Allie & Granny got to see it!

Shauna flew in on Labor Day so we went into Winnipeg to pick her up! And I was ready to do some shopping....only thing was there was NO STORES OPEN!! Seriously, my family was like WOW! I was not happy I needed to get Brady a bike for his birthday and Taras a tool box!! So oh well, we got shauna and my mom was like Hun your tire seems a little low? OK we'll go get gas and put some air in it! Oh no as I'm putting air in, the damn air valve POPS OFF!! And my tire is flat with in secs! I was like great now WHAT!! And I couldn't go and get it fixed anywhere cause everything was CLOSED!! I was not happy AT ALL!! It was a good thing we were at a gas station, so me and shauna go inside and ask if anything I mean anything is open and tells the guy what has happened, he says nothing is open, I can call a tow truck? Fine. So he does and this guy comes and is like wow I haven't changed a tire in like 30 years! WHAT?! Well he's no good, at all, and can't get my spare off! I'm calling Taras telling him what's happened and he says tell him to cut it off and put the spare on...I tell this to the guy and he calls in to see who has cutters. He tells me that someone will be here soon! It's already been like an hour and were like 2 1/2 hrs from home. So this guy comes and he was like the best!! Man did he know his stuff!! All in all he got my spare off and put it on!! Thanks Kevin!! He was a life saver!! We sure were laughing about it on the way home!! It only took 2 hrs to do it!

Then the day they left we all went to the pumpkin patch!! We had so much fun, it was so hard to say good bye and go our own ways. Thanks guys for coming here and helping out with everything!! Love and miss you all...xoxo!

Easten is 7 months and is healthy as a horse! He is 22 lbs and is as happy as can be! He has his two bottom teeth it's so cute when he smiles and you can see them!! He is such a great baby and we could not be any happier that he is in our family!! He is just about to crawl...I told Taras that he will be crawling by the end of this month..so we'll see! He loves brady and is always laughing at him! He likes Bauer too!! He will sit and watch him, and laughs when he walks by, it's so cute!!

So my cute Sister and Snowy came up here for two weeks! We had the best time! They were here for Canada Day, July 1st and for the 4th of July! We went up to Clear Lake for Canada day and just hung out by the lake, we swam, the boys played some volleyball with Brady and us girls did some shopping! We took Easten with us and Brady stayed with the guys! We had a great day....later on that week we did some fire works for the 4th! It was fun!!

Shauna wanted Brady to say Aunty Shauna so bad when she was here.....well he did but he says Aunt, that's good enough for Shauna she was soo happy!! Now Brady says Aunt, Unc gone in car..I tell him ya they had to go home, gone bye,bye ya buddy there gone! He sure does miss them!!
We did so much while they were here we had a great time! I wish we lived closer we sure do miss you guys! Thanks so much for everything you guys do for you nephews!! They love you!

When we were at Clear Lake some people make an alligator out of sand it was pretty cool!

This was Brady's first year of swimming lessons and he loved it!! He went for two weeks! He did such a good job! He loves the water! He really didn't care so much for the noodle!! I went with him, cause dad was busy working, but he came when he could! So one of the days he wanted Unc (uncle that's what Brady calls Ryan) to go in with him, so poor Ryan had no swimming shorts with him, but he still got in! Thanks Ry!! Ryan was in there for about 5 mins till Brady wanted MOM!! He pasted...and is ready for next year!! YAY!!!
First day

Easten is doing GREAT!! He is such a happy baby.....last time we went to the doctors he weighed in at 16 lbs!! Now he is like 18 lbs now & is 4 months already, I can't believe he is growing up way to fast! He is still sleeping through the night, and Brady is such a great big brother he is always kissing him and when and if he cry's Brady is right there to give him a kiss and a toy! Easten is always smiling and laughing at Brady..he watches him so much!! It is going to be so much fun once he gets older! I sure do love my boys!

So my cute sister made these boards for Brady and Easten it's their names!! They are so cute....I LOVE THEM!! She is always doing stuff for them!! She is a great Aunty! They sure are lucky to have her!! Thanks sister we love them can't wait to hang them up!!

I know what you are all thinking SNOW IN MAY?? Yep it snowed here on the 13th of may!! That's Canada for ya. It's so crazy, we got up that morning and was like what the heck! I didn't believe it would, they kept calling for it and we sure did get it! My Dad could not believe it he was like I'm going back to where it's like 80's! The snow is all gone but it's still cold here, it's only like in the 40's. It's supposed to get warmer!! Let's HOPE!!

My cute Dad surprised me on the 5th of may! He drove up! It was a nice surprise he would always say to me you know one day and I am just going to show up, I would say yeah right!! And he did! It was fun having him here, Brady loved it too! He hadn't been here since last October, so it was the first time that he saw Easten!! He sure does miss you guys!! Thanks dad for everything!! Love ya....

For Mother's Day we went up to clear lake and took Brady to the playground which he loved, he would be on one thing and then off to the next! Then we met up with Taras' parents and went for dinner!! It was a great day! Taras made me breakfast and lunch and I got a message which I can't wait to go and use! (sister will we have to go and get one while you are here)

The other night Brady was down stairs with us, cause Taras' mom and dad came over to see the boys and give me my b-day present cause Steph (Taras' mom) and sister were leaving the next morning and wouldn't be here for it. Well Brady never comes down stairs after his bath, we get him ready and he goes to bed, well for some reason he wanted Dad to put a diaper on ELMO!! SO funny what they think of! So he went and got a diaper and gave it to dad, and he put it on!! Here are a few pics!! So funny!

Then he decided to get in the bag that my gift was in, like he doesn't have enough toys!

We had a Winnie roast awhile ago, cause it was nice! Brady LOVED it, it was fun!! We have a fire pit on the side of the house and in the summer at night we will have a bomb fire!! It's so fun living in the country you can do so much!!

I don't even know where to start...I had quite the morning a few days ago. I was getting Easten ready cause we were going to see some friends that afternoon! When I give Easten his baths, I put Brady in his room or he just gets into EVERYTHING I mean EVERYTHING! So I put him in there and he always looks at his books. So I was dressing Easten and Brady was sure QUIET, and I know there is nothing he can get into. So after I got Easten dressed I went in his room and this is what I FOUND......

I could not believe it! He had a MARKER...I didn't even know what to do, or say, or where I should start! IT was EVERYWHERE on his hands, shirt, pants, walls, baseboards, the door, his dresser, the baby gate, so I a grab the camera (of course) and then I put Easten in his crib and ran down stairs to get my Mr. Clean Eraser. (which didn't work that WELL) I started on the wall and as I am TRYING to get this off I called my mom and said what takes marker off the WALLS! She said OH NO....trying no to laugh!! What happened so I told her and she said try some alcohol or hairspray. Then she said go and google it....ya like I have time to go and google!! So I got off the phone with her and called my sister and told her! She was like oh that cute little monkey laughing again!! I was like YA just you wait!! She was like calm down it's fine. I said sure it's not your walls! So I got my hairspray and BAM it came off of EVERYTHING but the door, but that we can paint!! So after I got it all cleaned up I went and googled on how you get it OUT of JEANS, and of course they were his good ones! So while I was doing that my mom called and said she went and googled it and I said ya I am doing that right now! All in all it's fine everything is good, it all came out! Now I can look back at this and laugh!! At least it wasn't anything to serious and he didn't get hurt!! He is quite the little MONKEY!! You are probably wondering where he got the marker?? Well he has this measuring chart on his door and it came with a marker so you can mark how tall he his. Well I NEVER even thought to take it out, even after Taras told me too. He pulled it down and wall-la that is how he got the marker!!

So when Brady goes to bed, he holds onto our fingers! I put him down for his nap and Taras puts him to bed! Well today he was just not falling asleep, I was in three for about half an hour. The phone rang and I went to get it, and then I had to get something off the computer. Well I couldn't hear him in there so I thought maybe he was looking at a book! (cause there are no toys in his room) but when I opened the door I found Brady sleeping with his elephant and his horsey, so cute! He had fallen asleep all on his own! What a good boy....so now I am going to try and do this and see if it works! Lets HOPE!! =)

So the other day Brady was eating his breakfast with dad and he tells me to come and see him.....when I went in there this is what I found! We were laughing so hard, he is having peanut butter on his toast, but he was licking it off instead of eating it, what kids do and think of? Next time we should just give him a spoon and the JAR!!?!

Wow it has been a long time...here is what's new at our house! So the Easter Bunny did come! It was fun this year....he hid eggs around the house for Brady to find (which he loved) and then we got ready and went to Grandpa & Grandma Turko's for lunch and I forgot the camera..(so those pictures will follow once I get them) I was so mad, just too many things to remember! So all in all Easter was great here!

It was nice here a couple of days ago so we went outside and Brady flew his KITE!! (thanks aunty Shauna) he loved it...it was the first time for him and DAD! Brady really liked it, he was sooo excited! Taras would tell him to look up and all he would say is ohhhh!!

He also helped Dad fix the fence so the baby calfs wouldn't get through! We told him to stay right by dad and DON'T move and that is what he did!! He also fix the tire on the stroller...what a big helper!

Easten is doing GREAT!! He is such a good baby....he had his doctors appt and is 13 pounds! I could not believe it! He is in the 99.9% and is doing great! My Doctor ask if I was breastfeeding, I said yes. He said anything else? Nope...then he said you must be pumping out cream!! I was laughing! It was funny....just good milk! I am lucky! Easten goes to bed between 9:00 and 10:00 and gets up around 5:30 and then back down for a few more hours!! Such a good boy! He is just starting to smile...it's the best thing when they smile at you!! Brady still loves being a big brother and is such a big helper (when he wants to be)! Dad is still busy calving almost done, and is now busy at the fertilizer shed!! There is never a dull moment when you farm!! I love being a mom it's the best thing! I sure do love my boys!!

So it's that time of year again....calving, and it has been so nice here (YAY) so I took the boys out to see Dad and the calves! Brady loves them he had a great time! Easten slept, next year he will be walking around with Dad and Brady It was a great day!

Easten was two weeks on Monday...I can't believe it! The time goes by so fast, I don't know where it goes! He is a great baby!! He is sleeping 4-5 hours at night and it great during the day! Brady still loves his baby brother, if Easten is in his swing Brady always goes up to him and gives him kisses....it's so cute! If Easten makes a noise Brady is right there by him, making sure he is OK...what a great big brother! I could not ask for better and cuter boys!! I had some pictures taken of they boys together. I don't have them back yet, but I do have two pictures of Easten! They turned out so cute!! Thanks Tami!!

Brady is such a big boy now!! He is a big helper to mommy!! He loves to vacuum, and when he spills anything he runs and gets a towel to wipe it up!! He has been in his big boy bed since January (I just haven't gotten around to posting it) and he LOVES IT!! Still a great sleeper!! He is now out of the high chair and at the table with us!! He likes this much better! He was always standing up in his high chair and we were like ok enough of this!! He does much better on his new seat!! So it has been storming here like crazy and we are calving and Taras leaves early to go out and check on them. So he left around 7:30 and the boys were still sleeping!! Around 8:30 I wake up to mom, mom, mom! Here is Brady standing by our bed! I was like what the H*$$....how did he get out of his room? I don't know if Taras didn't close his door all the way or if he is standing on his book shelve to open it, cause it is right by the door! This is the second time he has done this! I know he can't open the door he can't really reach to open it YET! So we will see!!

Easten is finally here!!

Easten Taras Turko entered our family on March 9th at 8:48 pm. I was a week over due and ready for this little guy to be here! He was 8lbs 14oz and 22.25 in long!! I was induced around noon and my water broke around 5:30 and he was here at 8:48. I was so glad that he was here and that everything went well!! He is just beautiful and we love him sooo much! Brady is a great big brother...he just loves him!! He is always giving him kisses and always wants to sit by me when I am feeding him!! He is a big help! He is going to be a great big brother! Dad is happy too....he loves his boys it's so cute when he comes home and he sees them, his face just lights up!! He is a great dad and husband!! Love you babe! My mom is here and has been a big help!! I don't wont her to leave! It's nice having her here! Thanks mom for all you have done, we love and appreciate it lots!! She is a great grandma and Brady loves her!! They have had such a great time together! He is going to miss her when she leaves and the same with her!! I wish we lived closer so that everyone could see them more often! Here are some pics I know everyone has been waiting sorry it has taken me so long!

So today is my due date...and still no baby! I thought forsure by now he would be here! I guess he is not ready to come out just yet! I have had some contractions but nothing over the top! I had Brady on his due date so I thought maybe he was waiting for that...I guess there is still time. If I don't have him by the 3rd then the doctor is going to start me!! I will let you all know when this little one arrives!!

So my mom came in on the 20th and we spent the night in Winnipeg, did some shopping and took Brady swimming!! It was fun...then the next day we went and saw Disney On Ice...OH MY GOSH did Brady LOVE it (so did I, we all did)!! He was so cute every time a character came out he was just watching them and clapping and dancing it was the best!! He was such a good boy!! Towards the end he was getting tired but he did great!!

So Brady loves the Dr. Seuss books he has a ton....every night Taras reads him a story, and he tells Brady to go and pick out a book (well it always ends up being more then one) and it's always a Dr. Seuss! His favorite ones are Go, Dog. Go, Are you my Mother? ABC, and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish! So when Taras is reading them to him he will sometimes lick his finger to turn the page! So now when Brady is reading a book he does the same thing!! It's soo cute to watch him! (I don't have a pic but when I get one I will post it) Also when they are reading the books and whatever it says Brady will do!! Like in Go, Dog. Go where it says all dogs are going around, and around and around Brady moves his hand around and around! Or stop dogs stop the light is red...Brady puts his hand up and says STOP!! He laughs when you read Do you like my Hat? I do not like that hat Good bye, Good bye!! In Are you my Mother? When the bird asks the animals if they are his mother Brady makes the sounds and shakes his head NO! It's the cutest thing ever! He is just getting to be such a big boy!! He sure does love his Dr. Seuss!!

So last night we watched the Bachelor....I was a little upset. OK I was REALLY UPSET!!! I don't know what he was thinking? But I guess if he doesn't have those feelings for Stephanie, then he can't keep her around! I had figured he wasn't going to keep her....but really NAOMI!?!? I can't stand her!!! I just think some of those girls are way too young. I like Jillian and Melissa but I think (Melissa is too young and she just thinks she wants it) I don't like Molly either....so when he didn't pick Stephanie I was crying....like historical (hormones) Taras was like don't cry and came and gave me a hug!! She is just so cute and I felt bad for her....then when he was like I need to say this in front of everyone... your the best thing blah blah blah...I was like whatever. I was so mad!! Then when it showed the previews for next week and they were at Naomi's and her mom...like really come on, whats with the dead dove? I was like I hope your HAPPY Jason. He looked a little worried and the WHOLE Melissa thing...when she was like my parents don't what to met you with the whole T.V. thing so you will be meeting some of my friends! I was like give me a BRAKE!!! And then there's Deanna like what is she thinking? When does she come into play? She should just STAY AWAY!! You didn't pick him so you don't get another chance. Like really!! Well I do hope he's happy and that it does work out for him!! So I hope he makes the right choice!! Oh I do think Stephanie should be the next Bachelorette!!?? Do you agree?!

WOW....I love the Bachelor!! Jason is so cute and a great guy! I felt so bad for him when he was on the Bachelorette.....anyways for those who don't watch it YOU SHOULD!! So last night we watched it, it's on Monday's so we recorded it anyways.....we LOVE Stephanie I think she is so cute and would be GREAT for Jason so if you saw it then you know her and (Nikki which I liked also) went on a date with Jason and he had to send one home! Me and Taras where soooo mad I didn't want him to send Stephanie home and I thought he was going to! So as their date is going on Taras is like OMG I can't watch it this is making me sooo mad.....(I'm pretty sure he is the only guy that gets into it) so we're like oh for sure he is sending her home?!? Well when it came time to hand out the rose he gave it to STEPHANIE!!! What a relief!!! We were so happy, I was soooo glad that he kept her!! I really like her!! So he better pick her! It's such a good season and I was glad that he sent home those 3 girls.....Megan, Lauren and Shannon I could not STAND her!!eeeewwww And what was her dress?? Needless to say I am glad that they are gone and Stephanie is still here! I can't wait to see who he ends up with!! I hope it's Stephanie!!

Christmas 2008

Wow I'm so behind...christmas was a blast!! My mom came in on the 19th so we had a couple of days to get ready for christmas, and then on the 24th my cute sister and snowy surprised us and came up!! I thought something was going on but then I thought well if they are coming they would be here by now and they wouldn't come on christmas eve!! Well I was wrong. I was so shocked that when I saw my sister I started to cry! Brady just loved christmas so did we! We were so busy ALL day long that he didn't open his present from us and Santa till that night! We went to Taras' mom and dads that morning then came home after lunch and Brady was so tired that he fell asleep on the way home! So we opened up our presents then when Brady got up we did his!! He got so much stuff I can't believe it! He is one loved boy!! It was a great time having some of my family here! We had a blast!! Thanks Auntie and Uncle for surprising us!! It was a good one!!

So we have a dug out behind our house and Taras & Ryan cleared it off and they played hockey!! Brady's first time on his skates!! He loved it! When Taras would stop or give him to me he started to cry he wanted to keep going! But it was sooo cold that we only stayed out there for a little bit!!

Brady wanted to get in Aunty's boots so the boys put him in them and he was walking around trying to play hockey!!! It was sooo funny!

Brady LOVES Santa he just loves him! I think he is the only one at this age that he's not afraid! When Santa left he was walking around the house looking for him! It was so cute!

So last Sunday we made a gingerbread house!! Brady really liked it! He liked the icing the best...he would keep putting his finger out for more! He had icing everywhere!! Then he was eating all the candies and we would tell him to put them on the house!! HE DID!! He did a good job!! It was a fun night, Brady got messy but that is the fun part about it! To see what he does!! We were laughing so hard cause it's not the best gingerbread house but it was FUN!!

Here we are making rice krispies!! Brady is such a big helper! He loves to help his mom and dad! It was cute he was stirring them and then eating them off the spoon! We were laughing so hard......he LOVES his rice krispies!! He is at a fun age where he can help out!!!! He is already 15 months and I can't believe it!!

Christmas Decorations

OK here are my Christmas Decorations I have had people asking me when I was going to put them on (shauna) one of them, so here you all go!! We love this time of the year!! I have had my decorations up since Nov 1st!! Thanks to my cute mom for helping me! Thanks MoM!!! See our thanksgiving is in October, so as I am taking down our Halloween stuff Taras always ask, so are you putting up the Christmas Decorations I usually say in about a week or so. And he says aww just put then up!! But this year it was earlier!! So he was HAPPY!! He likes all the decorations. So do we! It just seems like it goes by so fast, you put everything up and then it seems like you take it all down!! We like to enjoy it for awhile!! You all must wonder how does Brady do with them? Does he bother them?? NOPE!! He is really, really good! Once in a blue moon he will take this one decoration off the tree but that is it!! It was so funny cause last year Brady was three months and everyone is telling me OH next year you wont be able to have this or that! I was like YA right! Just cause I have kids doesn't mean I have to put MY things away, he has learned and is great about it!! If you have it out then they learn not to touch it!!

FeEdInG the CoWs with DaDdY

So a couple of weeks ago we went with dad to feed some of the cows!! Brady loved it, he loves the cows and all the tractors! Every time he sees the tractors he starts to point and talk he is own lingo....it's cute he just loves them!! So we have a couple of cows that are tame and they are out where Taras feeds them. We have some of them here at our yard and the rest are at another yard..anyways me and Taras calve out half the heard and his parents do the other half. That was before I had Brady! So we would go there in the mornings and check to see if any cows have calved and tag and needled them, fed them etc. then we go home for lunch and then back to calving well when we went back there was like 6 cows that had calved and too many calf's one of them had twins. See they lay down to calve and she did but then she got up and went to another spot and calved again and she didn't know she had the first one. If they don't have them in the same spot then they don't know they had twins....unless they come to smell them, that is how they can tell there baby from the other ones! And if they do have twins we put then in a pen for awhile so she knows she has two of them!! So we saw this little calf by one of the feeders and no cows were coming for it, so we figured it was a twin! So we would let all the other cows smell it but no one wanted her (sometimes this happens) so we fed it and took care of it till it was big enough to go on it's own.....and we called her twinzel. She was our buddy!! Every morning she knew when we got there she would get fed!! She would follow us around, basically we were her parents!! It's cute! Well now she is big but she still comes to us!! Brady would pet her and sit on her!!! Which he LOVED!! So I have a couple of pics to show you guys!!

So yesterday we had a ultrasound to see what we are having!! It's wasn't till 4:00. We left the house around 8:30 and got into Winnipeg around 10:30-11:00, we went to the mall and did Xmas shopping, we also saw Santa...which Brady LOVED!!! It was perfect timing no one was there, there was a couple in front of us so while we are waiting, we're like Brady look it's Santa....he was looking and then the lady (elf) came over and said hi Brady and was talking to him and she says does it matter even if he's crying, as long as we get a picture? I said I don't think he will cry, so Taras took him over and put him on Santa's lap and Brady was LOOKING at him and here we are trying to make him smile!! It was great..we got a little smile out of him but he sure was looking at him!! He likes Santa!! The lady was surprised that he didn't cry!! So then we met Taras' Aunty Myrna and his cousin Becca for lunch at Boston Pizza it was yummy!! Then we went and saw his other cousin at her work Tammy, stayed there for about 10 mins then we were off to FIND OUT!! We got there and I had to fill out some paper work and wait cause someone else was in the room. So she comes out and gets us and we go back in the room. She asked us if we wanted to know the sex....we said YES and she started, we saw it's head and cute little finger's and toes...it's mouth, arms and then she said ok lets see what it is.....

as soon as she went down there we saw it was a boy right away!! He was not being shy for us! Taras was telling Brady, look that is your baby brother! He would look for a min and then he wanted down!! After we got done we were calling everybody telling them we are having another boy!! Daddy was happy that he is having another boy, so is mommy but daddy is glad he will have two boys to help on the farm and to play hockey!! I love my boys!! Oh ya I did the drano test and the needle and they both said I was having a GIRL! It was wrong... it didnt work on me!! All boys here!!

So we had pictures taken of Brady since he is over a year! I wanted to get some done since he is getting so big and not a baby anymore. We had some taken when he was about 7 months and I loved the way she takes pictures. Her name is Tami Foss and she is amazing!! I don't have them back but she sent me some! It's always so hard to pick which ones I want cause they are all soooo cute! I always go over and have to pay more but this time I was pretty good!! She also gives us a cd of them so that everyone else can get some made up!! I thought I would share a few with you!!

I called this morning and left a message, and I didn't hear anything from them so I called around 1:30 but still no one answered? SO I thought they would call before they closed which was at 6:00. Still no phone call? So I told Taras I don't care they can't call me back we're not finding out!! So we had dinner, gave Brady his bath put him to bed and I was on the computer and I couldn't remember there darn website so I called there cause it has it on the answering machine and a lady picked up!? I was like did I deal the right number? She said OH I know who this is!! Amanda? I said yes. She said I tried calling you earlier but it was busy (cause we don't have call waiting) and I was talking to Shauna pretty much all day!! So needless to say we rescheduled and we are on again next thursday!!! SO the weather better be good or else!!

So we have to cancel our appointment to see what we are having. I'm so bummed right now. We have to cancel because of the weather, it's freezing rain and snowing and the roads are not good at ALL, I'm so sad but hey it's not worth it. RIGHT!! So I have to call and cancel in the morning and reschedule. It's just to far for us to go in this kind of weather. I've waited this long I can wait another week or so. I will let you know when we are going!! Wish it would have turned out better but it didn't.....it's just my luck!!

So this Thursday we are going to go and find out what we are having!! FINALLY!! We are way excited about it and can't wait! We have to go to Winnipeg to find out, it's about 2, 2-12 hrs from us. Taras has family that lives there so we will see them and do some Xmas shopping! I think this week will go by slow just cause we have waited so long! Lots of people are saying it's a girl and some are saying it's a boy!? I will let you all know Thursday night or Friday morning!! I don't know what I'm having, some days I feel like it's a girl and then I think OH it's a boy! My pregnancy has been the same when I was pregnant with Brady. Everyone always says you can have the same pregnancy and it be something else. So we'll see!!

So for Halloween this year we got a GREAT SURPRISE!! It was Friday (the 24th) and we were in the kitchen with Taras' Mom and sister, and I was getting ready to feed Brady his dinner and when I looked up there was my mom and dad poking there heads around the corner, I was talking to Shauna on the phone and when I saw them I started to cry and I dropped the phone!! I was in total SHOCK!! They came over and gave me a hug and Brady was looking at them like what are you doing here, he just sees them on the wed cam! So it was the best surprise I have had in a long time!! Thanks Mom and Dad!! We had a great time together and they loved spending time with Brady!! They were here for 10 days and it seemed liked 2, it always goes by so fast! They did lots for us when they were here we got my yard work all done and Dad put up the x-mas lights and mom was busy in the house doing laundry and cleaning this and that! We sure do appreciated it a lot!! Brady loved having them here and they got to see all the fun things that he is doing!! They were here for Halloween and we had a great time carving pumpkins and going trick or treating!! It was a fun night!! Then Mom and I put up my Christmas, I know what you are thinking already?! Yep it was great to have her help and get everything up! Thanks Dad for bring up all my tubs and putting the tree together!! We did this the day after Halloween and they were leaving on the 2nd. Mom and I were up till 3:30 getting everything up but we did it!! It was good cause it was the night of the time change so we got an extra hour!! Thanks mom for all your hard work!! =) It was so hard to say bye to them, I think it's harder now that we have monkey doo.....it's hard for us to be so far away from eachother! Thanks again mom and dad for all your help and everything you did and do for us we love and appreciate you a lot!!

Ultrasound

So today we had a ultrasound done to see how the baby is growing and make sure everything is okay! Everything is going great! So my appt. was at 12:30 and we waited about 5 mins before they called me back. Taras can't come in till it is over with, so he waited outside. So she is doing the ultrasound and the baby is moving all over the place she was having a hard time getting some pictures and seeing if everything was good! Active little one! So I was in there for about 45 mins and then she went and got Taras. He comes in and she is showing us the baby and we are looking trying to see what it is, cause they can't tell you. You have to go to Winnipeg (it's the capital & it's bigger and about 2 hrs from us) so she says oh look the baby is opening it's legs and me and Taras are trying are hardest to see what it is. I'm sure our eyes were popping out of our head! But we couldn't tell she moved it away! But we saw everything else the head, hands, feet, bum, spine, heart, stomach and face so cute!! The heart beat was 152 so that is good!! So we are walking out and Taras is like I thought something was wrong I was texting you (as if I'm going to have my phone on me) he said you were in there for so long, which I'm not but this time it was someone different and she wanted to make sure everything was good! He was getting a little worried which you can't blame the guy! So all is well we wont find out for a couple of more weeks and I'm dieing to know what it is!!

Pumpkin Patch

So I finally took Brady to the pumpkin patch today!! I had been wanting to take him for awhile, but it's only open on weekends and the weather hasn't been the best or something else was going on! Dad was busy working so we went with Aunty Tasha and Grandma Turko! We had a good day! There was so much stuff to do, they had a corn maze, zip line, tractor ride, animals to pet, bales to climb on and a little maze for the younger kids! The had a little haunted house you name it they had it! So Brady really didn't care about picking out his pumpkin all he wanted to do was go back and see the animals! They had two calves, donkeys, bunnies, goats, a pig, ducks and chickens! His favorite was the PIG! He just loved it! He would pet it and then go to see the other animals and then go back to the pig!! I couldn't get him away from it, I had to carry him to go do something else or we would have been there ALL DAY! We went through the corn maze and over to climb on the bales we even tried picking out a pumpkin but he was always off to see that crazy pig! We were laughing so hard, it was like it didn't matter who was standing there he got right in there as if that was his pig! He loves tractor's as it is and they had this little one there that pulled these carts behind it for the kids to go for a ride and when he saw the that tractor go he was off and following it! It was so funny!! It was a good day and I'm glad we finally went! Can't wait till next year!! Here are some pic.....enjoy =)

So awhile ago Brady fell asleep in his highchair for the 1st time! It was so cute! HE was so tired but at the same time hungry! His little head kept bouncing around and then finally he went! So as he's sleeping I was cleaning him off. I get ready to take him out and he starts eating again, it was so funny. His little hand went back in the bowl then in his mouth as he is still some what sleeping! He has done this twice now! And the funny thing is, that my mom had asked me along time ago if he has fallen asleep in his highchair and I said no. She said well it wont be long! And sure enough he did! Too cute!

Doctors Appt...

So yesterday I had a Doctors appt. Everything is going great! The baby's heart rate is 140 so that is awesome!! And I am doing good!! The only thing is that my due date has been moved UP!!! YEP baby is coming sooner not that much sooner!! My new due date is March 1st, so eight days earlier!! So now we just have to wait! I go for another ultrasound on the 22nd to make sure the baby is growing and that everything is okay! And then we will go back and have another one when I'm around 24 weeks so see what we are having? They don't like to do it till around then so we will have to wait! =)

The end of Harvest

So we finished Harvest on the 1st of October! YAY!!! This was a late year for us...with all the rain we had, but we got the crop off and it was great!! We had 5 combines in the field that night, two of them were ours (the yellow ones) and the other 3 were friends of ours helping us out! We had a big dinner in the field be in the last day of harvest and it was also Auntie Tasha's b-day (taras' sister) It was fun! Brady loves going out to the field and going in the combine with daddy!! There was a lot of people out there it was a fun night!! Now that harvest is over, Taras is off to the fertilizer shed for the season....he'll be there for about a month or so, so we wont see much of him but it's good cause we can go and see him!! I usually work there with him, but now that I'm a stay at home mom I help out when I can. Usually book work things like that! I will be glad when it's all over and he'll be at home with us! Brady get so excited to see him, it's so darn cute. He is at that age where he wants to go with his daddy and when taras leaves he get mad & sad that he can't go! Almost buddy, when he is a little bit older he will be able to go! Here are a few pic of harvest!!

Things Happen....

So the other day I was in the kitchen making lunch, and Brady was in the family room playing like he always is. I always go in and check on him to see what he is up to and make sure he is okay, so I went back in the kitchen and after awhile he started to cry this was not a normal cry it was his hurt cry so I ran into the family room and he was sitting by the corner of coffee table so I new he had hit it, I picked him up to see what had happen, I thought he had hit his lip, but nothing was wrong so as I'm looking at his face I noticed his eye!! He had hit his eye and it was not good. He had hit it right on the bone by his eye. Luckily he didn't hit his eye. So I went and got some ice and put it in a wash cloth, put it on his eye and held him, he fell asleep in my arms so I was able to keep the ice on there for awhile so the swelling didn't get too bad! It looked good but you could tell he was going to get a blackeye and he did! He slept for about an hour and when I went in to get him he was as good as new, the only thing was he had a little bit of swelling and his eye was turning purple, blue, yellow all the colors of when you get a blackeye. He is good now and his eye looks GREAT!! Thank goodness it wasn't anything worse!!

Brady's 1st Birthday...

So yesterday was Brady's 1st birthday! I can't believe he is a year old! The time goes by so fast I just remember coming home from the hospital and starting our family, and know he is a little man! So we celebrated his birthday on the 7th. We had family and friends over it was a great day! I wanted to have it outside but the WEATHER was NOT good. It was cold and the wind was blowing so we had it inside!! The kids would go out for a little bit, but then come in cause they were cold! The food was yummy and all the cakes! He had a lot of presents to open and he sat on Daddy knee the whole time! He would have one present then he wanted the one we were opening it was cute! After that we had cake......well he did NOT want his cake he wanted his toys! HE wanted NOTHING to do with it, we were putting his hands in it and feeding him but he wanted OUT!! So we got him out and he went and played with his toys! Later that night he had some with Aunty Tasha (taras' sister) Yesterday we gave him his BIG present! It was a power wheel jeep! HE loves it, he sits in there and drives but we have to push the petal for him! He could be in it all day! Then daddy went to work and it was just me and Brady, we had a good day! He played with all of his new toys and then we had some lunch and he went to bed! I made a cake and some hamburgers for the guys that were working in the field. Then Brady got up and we took them out to the guys and daddy we went for a ride in the combine with daddy and then we came home and had some cake WHICH HE ATE, but he had to have a fork!!! He loved it....then he had a bath and we were off to bed! It was a good day!! Thanks everyone for coming to the party and for all the present!! He loves them all! Daddy's birthday was on the 11th so we celebrated it in the field too!! We had more cake! I think I am done with cake for awhile!! Today is uncle Ryan's birthday so Happy Birthday Snowy! We have three birthday's in a row Taras', Brady's then Uncle Ryan's! It's a busy week!!

Exciting News......

So it has been a long time again since I have up dated, so it's going to be a lot on here! We have some news to share! We are going to have another baby! YEP I'm expecting and we couldn't be happier! I am due March 9th....so Brady and the baby will be 18 months apart. Which is good cause we wanted to have them close! This was a surprise, just like Brady and it's the best! I think we are going to find out what we are having it's so much easier!! So when we do I will let you all know!

Brady is walking!! HE has been for about a month now and he's EVERYWHERE!! He loves it! He keeps me on my toes! It is sooo fun! He has changed so much! I can't believe he is going to be one on the 12th! I really don't know where the time went! So we started combining a couple of days ago ( for those of you who don't know what that is.....it's where they take the crop off the field, wheat, barley etc.) I have some pictures I will post! We take the guys dinner and eat in the field it's fun, but towards the end we are tired of cooking! Brady loved it! It was his second Harvest last year he was just a new born, and now he is walking all over the field after Daddy! He was playing with his dads tools and got sooo dirty! He loved it!! It was sooo cute!!

A couple of weeks ago we went to clear lake and camped! It was sooo fun! Taras' Mom & Dad where up there at there cabin, so we had a great time! We went swimming and Brady loved it, what doesn't he love! He loves the water he kept going back to go in! We tried to build a sand castle but it didn't happen haha......we tell him to kick his feet and he does it as fast as he can, soooo cute! We were there for 4 days and it was good to get away before dad was busy with Harvest! So I think that is all for now!

Up Date......

Yes we are back, and it has taken me a long time to up date this! Sorry......we have been busy. We were gone for 3 weeks then Shauna, Ryan and Bubba came up! We had so much fun, it's hard to say bye! They left today so I thought I would get this done! Salt Lake was so fun, it was good to see the fam, it always goes by so fast! Then from there we went to Canmore and Banff that is in Alberta! We had a great time! It was good to see some of Canada I have never been there! It's beautiful! We were there for 5 days, it was so good to get home! We were home for maybe 2 days and Taras was like what is that smell? So he went in the basement and it was flooded! I couldn't believe it. This whole time we were gone and the basement flooded what a mess. There was 2 1/2 feet of water. We had so much down there I was sick! I had all of my decorations down there everything Christmas, Halloween, Easter etc. So we put on our rubber boots and went down and started hauling everything up. Needless to say my porch looked like a yard sale! I had clothes hanging, Christmas, Halloween stuff out drying it was bad but we got it under control and about 4 days later I had my porch back! Oh did I mention it was on our anniversary too! YES that is one we will NEVER forget! I love you baby! Yep 4 years geez the time flies by! All done! What a good eater!

For the 4th of July we went to the murray parade

Brady loved it he sat in his chair and watched it and

waved his flag it was so cute!

He was so amazed with all the floats!

After the parade we went back to Auntie Shauna's & Uncle Ryan's House for a BBQ and we played Wii outside it was so fun and the food was sooooo good! It was a great 4th of July!

So the last night we were in SL we went to Granny's for dinner and Auntie Shauna gave Brady his 1st hair cut! He was such a good boy! He just sat there and played! He sure did have an audience!

Auntie did a great job! I love it!

So we are getting ready to go to SLC...YAY I can't wait I am sooo excited to see my family and friends, they are excited too, but they all can't wait to see munchkin (brady)! Everyday they say, they are excited to see all of us, but really it's just Brady! That's what happens when you have kids....=) We haven't been home since Christmas and Brady was only 3 months! He has changed so much it will be fun to see if he remembers them or not! He should with my mom & dad cause they were just here not to long ago! He see's Shauna, bubba & snowy on the web cam so we will see how he does! We will be there for 2 weeks then we are off to Calgary! YAY We are going to canmore and banff! I have never been there, but Taras has! I hear it is sooo beautiful! So I am way excited! We will be there for 5 days and then it's back to reality!! Brady is still Brady he is in to everything and climbing everything especially the STAIRS he loves them! I try to teach him to come back down, but he wants NOTHING to do with it...he starts to cry!! He just likes to climb them! One day he will learn as for now he is just having fun climbing them! It was nice here yesterday and we were out side FINALLY! He absolutely LOVES the grass! He loves to be bare foot and walk on it and rub his little toes in it! It's the cutest thing ever! He loves to pick it also! He pick it and then looks at it, doesn't eat it (not there yet) so we will see how long that last for! So the other day we were getting ready to go to the lake, and Brady LOVES my makeup bag! He can spot that thing a mile away! So when he see it he goes has fast as he can for it! So when I put my makeup on he sits there with me and takes everything out! It's cute! So I told Taras to go and get the camera and take some pictures.....well when I'm done and putting everything back he takes it out just as fast as I'm putting it away we were laughing so hard! For some reason it just amazes him!

Father's Day....

We went up to Clear Lake for Father's Day and spent the night in the cabin! WE had such a good time! We went for Ice Cream and walked around, I love it up there! It's nice to get away for a night! Brady was trying to climb up on the couch! Look at those little teeth...=)

Brady loves to talk on his phone, if you tell him to say hello he picks it up and holds it to his ear!! It is too cute! We tell him to say Hi Grandma or Aunty, we go through the whole family! He is just so fun!

This was the morning of father's day......like daddy like son!! =) Brady got daddy some things for golfing, a new towel, some balls, tee's etc. Brady likes to help and open the presents he was just pulling out the tissue paper! He loves it! I got Daddy a couples massage for when we go to SLC. YAY!!! Taras was then asking me if it was mother's day again...I said everyday is mother's day!

He likes to look outside! Someone was walking by and all three of them were watching! Especially Bauer he is such a guard dog! Brady likes to pull on any blinds he loves them, if he can reach them watch out!!

Then we went golfing back at McCreary, (were we live) we went with the fam. We had such a great time, Brady LOVED it. It was his first time....he is so serious here!Our little golfer....he is holding daddy's club! We have to get him a pair of little ones so he can go play with dad!

After golfing we went back to grandma & grandpa's for dinner! We had pork ribs, they were yummy!! We watch the rest of the U.S open and watched Woods tie it up! What a game! It was a great day! Hope you had a good first father's day babe~ We love you!

Brady 9 months

So the other day Brady decided to climb the stairs! Yes I know.....I was vacuuming the rug in front of the front door and when I turned around he was already up two stairs...my heart dropped! Luckily the stairs are right by the front door! So I turned off the vacuum and said BRADY....he turned and looked at me with a smile and continued on climbing! I followed him up the rest of the way! HE did it all by himself! I was shocked but at the same time not! HE is our little monkey he gets into everything! He is off and exploring something new everyday! It's sooo fun to see what he will be doing Next!

So the other day we were talking to aunty shauna on the web cam and Brady was chewing on daddy's drink (beer) and aunty shauna was like TARAS don't let him do that!! It was soo funny she thought the can was open! We were laughing so hard! Sorry the can was NOT open aunty!! hehehe But we sure do love her! She is a great aunty and always looking after Brady, he is very lucky =)

Brady turned 9 months yesterday and had a doctors appointment! He is 21 lbs and 29 in long! He is just GROWING! I can't believe it! It just seems like yesterday I found out I was prego and telling Taras he is going to be a daddy! Everything is good, Brady is great! Things could not be better! Our little monkey is getting so BIG! =)

Today is a hard day for me and my family, 5 years ago we lost our Brittany. She is my sister and my best friend, we did everything together. I swear we couldn't even walk out of the house without each other! She was killed in a car accident, and that was the worse day of my life. I can still see the highway patrol walking across the street and the look on my moms face when they said she has been killed. That was and is the hardest thing I have ever been through. Brittany was the best, she was there for everyone. She always had a smile on her face and made everyone laugh! She is the youngest out of us four kids and she was the strongest! There is a piece of the puzzle that is missing and it will never be replace. When she walked into a room she made everyone smile! She is beautiful inside and out, smart, funny she was and is the best!! If she had something to say she would! She could not wait to turn 21 and she was just 19 when she past away. I always wonder what you would be doing today? Would you be married, have kids or be single the way you wanted it?! Things would be so different if you were here. I think of you all the time, not a day goes by where I don't think of what you would be doing? Not only did I lose my sister but I lost my best friend!! I wish you were here and I love and miss you so much! I can't wait till I can see you and give you the biggest HUG! If there is one thing I could do, it would be to see your face and that smile and tell you I love you, just to tell you thanks for always being there and everything you did for me, to let you know you are the best! Brady will grow up knowing who his aunty is!! Don't worry I will tell him stories about you, you will be a big part in his life! You could not wait to be a aunty well now you are!! He has an angel watching over him!! We all do!! We all love and miss you so much! Things are not the same without our Britters!

We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday and days before that too. We thought of you in silence, we often speak your name. All we have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake, with which we'll never part. God has you in his keeping. We have you in our HEARTS!! We love you and miss your beautiful smile that you gave to us everyday! I love you Britt!!!

I finally had Brady's Pictures taken in April, I have been so bad at getting them done, we had a photographer come out to the farm! She was great with Brady and took some cool shot's! Ones that I never thought would look good, but they did! They all turned out GREAT! I was very happy! Brady smiled and laughed and looked cute as always! It was a good day!

Clear Lake

We took Brady up to Clear Lake, (it's about 1/2 hr from us) and we went to the playground! He HAD so much FUN!! He loved it, he LOVED the swings and slide he was always laughing and always was had a smile on his face! We had fun as well I enjoyed the slide too!! It's like we are kids again!!

We went to Minot this past weekend for a wedding and went to the Zoo while we were there! Brady liked it but wasn't to sure about it also! He liked the bears, he was LOOKING at them, cause one was up by the fence! It was good to be back and see all of our friends! We had a fun time!

Hi Everybody....so we are finally on here! YAY....well for those of you who don't know. Me and Taras will be married 4 years in July! WOW where does the time go! We met when he was going to the U. We lived in Minot ND, for 2 years and now live in Canada on a farm! We have an adorable 9 month (all most) baby boy, who is the love of our lives! He is so much fun I will post some pictures!!
